Lauren has been the Executive Officer of Heartland Investments Limited since 2006.  

She is a member of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) as a Chartered Accountant, and is a member of the Institute of Directors (MInstD). She gained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Otago in 2002 with a double major in Accounting and Finance, followed by a Master of Business degree with Distinction in Finance in 2004, also from the University of Otago.
