Heartland has consolidated several investments for its investors in Pioneer Capital’s private equity funds since its first fund was launched in 2007. Pioneer Capital closed its fourth fund of $300m in 2021, which is also a wholesale investment partnership with a focus on high-value New Zealand exporters in the expansion stage of development.

Pioneer Capital also launched its first private debt fund in 2021, which Heartland investors have also participated in.

Heartland has enabled its investors to participate in Pioneer Capital’s fund investments by syndicating investment parcels of $50,000. This opportunity would otherwise only have been made available to them if they had been willing to increase their risk by committing a significantly higher investment amount.
